Day 69 or Day 13
It is 5:50am
Thirty days of goals is no joke. I
am pressing my way through this. I need Jesus to help me with this stuff.
Yesterday was spent just relaxing with Rasharde and Lisa. Eventually, Mary
arrived as we were finishing up breakfast. Bless her heart. The Pride clan hit
the road at about 4:15pm and got back to both Belton and Houston safely. I also
went and picked Zoe up from Cynthia’s. Boy did Mustard and I have a good rest
without her. But she is back and things are back to “normal.” I had a good chat
with Cindy and caught up with her about her health and her family. She seems to
be doing great. I loved seeing all the photos on her wall of her family.
Goal 1- do not despise the day of
small beginnings. That would be like hating seeds. But we know that without
seeds, we have nothing. Seeds are small, but seeds are life.
Goal 2- if it itches, scratch it.
It makes no sense to sit in a place knowing the spot is where something is
irritated and ignoring it. If something requires some attention, give it the
attention it requires. A restless desire might be causing a sensation because
it wants to be attended to. Do not ignore this. This might be one of those
small beginnings.
Goal 3- Count your blessings.
Access your blessings and the areas of your blessings. There you might find
your calling. Thanks a bunch!
Goal 4- leave clues for others to
follow or at best for others to find you. If you get lost, others can track you and if you
find great treasure, others can find some too.
Goal 5- in all things give thanks.
I l realize I have written this time and time again, but this is one of those
things that constantly needs to be stated. I am thankful I took the time to go
to the adobe website. It sufficiently gave me the blues and moved me back to
where things are better suited for me… the keyboard with letters and the
thoughts coming from my head. I will hire the people and pay them well to
exercise their skill with those tools. They deserve it.
Goal 6-save as much and invest as
much as you can while you can. There will come a day where there is no income.
Find ways to have investments that keep the income coming in. Here is one that
is easier said than done. I will crack the code, though. I shall. I must.
Goal 7- if it ain’t broke, don’t
fix it. Do not tinker with something that is working. Instead draw your
attention to innovation and improvement on prototypes not on the completed
work. For instances… this works- Tide Bleach… in the lab you can work on
something else, but leave Tide Bleach alone. Note Coke Zero...
Goal 8- Stay creative. Bong bong
bong…. Stay creative.
Goal 9- remember to breathe. I am a
shallow breather already, so this is a great reminder.
Goal 10- remember that this too
shall pass. Things are not always as bad or as good as they seem, and these
conditions, no matter how extreme will pass.
I need some animation or
illustration software to be sure. I get these images in my head and need a
place for them to land. I will research all these software needs and see if I
can get it all in adobe suite. I have a little chunk of change to invest. Why
not invest it in learning some new skill or art form that can help in the long
run.
So, I just spent about ten minutes
looking into Adobe… head now hurts… I think I will stick to writing.
Thank you, Father God. Thank you,
Jesus. Thank you, Holy Spirit!
Amen
